Dr Andre Zerafa, Partner heading GANADO Advocates’ Investment Services and Funds team, has been invited to lecture at a 2-day course on Private Equity, that was held on the 17th and 18th of October. The training programme, organised by Castille, has been designed for private equity professionals, venture capitalists, private wealth and investment managers, as well as other industry professionals and students who wanted to learn more about the legal and management aspects of an asset class.
Dr Zerafa delivered training sessions on the legal forms for private equity structures, the MFSA’s regulatory framework governing such structures in Malta and a session focusing on the roles of the main service providers engaged in the private equity world. Steven Tedesco, an industry entrepreneur and consultant, lectured on the underlying investment rationale and processes leading to successful private equity ventures.
