Dr Leonard Bonello participates at FinanceMalta’s PSPs and EMIs event in London Published on November 1, 2016 FinanceMalta organised an afternoon seminar in London on the 8th of November, aimed at providing further information about Malta as a centre for setting-up Payment Services Providers (PSPs) and Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs). The seminar, entitled ‘Malta: a Leading European Payments and e-Money Destination’, brought together professionals within the European financial services industry to discuss the opportunities Malta has to offer within the PSP and EMI arena, whilst discussing the challenges in relation to regulations such as PSD II and financing opportunities for raising capital, exit strategies and M&As. Dr Leonard Bonello, Senior Associate within GANADO Advocates’ Banking and Finance team, was one of the panellists at this discussion, together with other prominent figures within the local banking and finance scene.
