GANADO Advocates sponsors ILS Course on Blockchain

GANADO Advocates is sponsoring an introductory course on Blockchain, which is being organised by the Institute of Legal Studies (ILS).  The course, entitled ‘Introduction to Blockchain: Legislation in Malta’, is meant to serve as a preparatory course about Compliance in Blockchain, which is a more advanced course organised by ILS in May and June.

This introductory course will be split over 3 days and will be focusing on 5 different aspects of Blockchain.

On the 25th of April, Dr Max Ganado will be delivering an overview of the DLT Legislative Framework. On the 6th of May, Mr James Farrugia will deliver a presentation on MFSA’s Financial Instruments Test and MiFID II, followed by Dr Leonard Bonello’s presentation about subsidiary legislation and guidance notes. On the last day of the course, the 9th of May, Dr Mario Zerafa will provide an update on AML legislation and compliance and Dr Paul Micallef Grimaud will deliver a presentation on GDPR.
