GANADO Advocates was once again one of the key sponsors at the ‘Opportunities in Business Jets’ and ‘Opportunities in Superyachts’ conferences, that took place at the InterContinental Hotel on the 9th and 10th of March. Organised in Malta for the 4th consecutive year, these conferences provide a basis for discussing the most recent developments affecting the Aviation and Maritime sectors, whilst bringing international industry leaders to Maltese shores.
During the Business Jets conference day, Dr Daniel Aquilina, Partner within the firm’s Aviation practice, hosted a round-table discussion on the effectiveness of the Cape Town convention self-help remedies. Ms Christine Cassar Naudi, Partner within the firm’s Corporate Finance and Tax practice, hosted another round-table discussion on the day dedicated to Superyachts, covering the practical aspects of importing a yacht into the EU.
Active within these two sectors for many years, GANADO Advocates bring a wealth of experience and expertise within these two fields of law, having significantly contributed to the drafting and revision of local legislation and the general development of these practice areas.
