On the 2nd of July 2019, the Hague Conference on Private International Law concluded the new Hague Judgments Convention (the “Convention”), described as a “game changer for cross-border dispute settlement”. This Convention deals with the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments delivered by the courts of its Contracting States.
